INCISIVE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON THE PERSON OF GOD. (GOD-HEAD)

👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

There are some scriptures in the Bible that those who never had the true revelation of the God Head use to support their belief of three God in one. This column, as much as possible answers some questions to clear the doubts  of some misconstrued truth about the Godhead.

1. Is the word trinity in the Bible?

Ans: No.

2. Does the Bible say there are three persons in the Godhead?

A. No.

3. Does the Bible speak of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

Yes; in Mathew 28:19.

4. Do these titles as used in Mathew   28:19 mean that there are three separate and distinct persons?

A. No. They refer to three offices, roles of the same one God in his relationship to humanity. Father is the Lord; which depicts God as creator and owner. It means God in his parental relationship with mankind. That is God in creation. God  above us. Son is the same one God in redemption. Emmanuel, God with us. Holy Spirit is the same one God in us. God in regeneration.

5. Does the Bible use the word three in reference to God?

A. Yes. Only one verse in the entire Bible does so: 1 John 5:7. It speaks of the Father, the Word ( not the son ),and the Holy Spirit; and it concludes that these three are one; not three persons in union, but one person.

6. Does the Bible use the word one in reference to God?

A. Yes; many times: Zechariah 14:9, Malachi 2:10, Mathew 23:9, Mark 12:29, 32; John 8:41; 10:30, Romans3:30, 1 Corinthians8:4, Galatians 3:20, 1 Timothy 2:5, James 2:19.

7. Can the mystery of the Godhead be understood?

A. Yes. Romans1:20, Colossians2:9, 1 Timothy 3:16.

8. Has the Christians only one heavenly Father?

A. Yes; Mathew 23:9.

9. Then, why did Jesus say to Philip, "He that hath seen me hath seen the Father?" ( John 14:9 ).

A. Because Jesus is the express image of the person of God ( Hebrews1:3 ). The word for person here literally means substance. Jesus is the image of the invisible God.( Colossians 1:15).

10. Does the Bible say that all the Godhead is revealed in one person?

A. Yes. In Jesus Christ. 11 Corinthians 4:4; Colossians 2:9; 1:19, Hebrews1:3.

11. Is the mystery of the Godhead hidden from some people?

A. Yes. Luke 10:21-22.

12. Who is the Father?

A. The Father is the one God, particularly as revealed in parental relationship to humanity. Deuteronomy 32: 6, Malachi 2:10.

13. Where was God, the Father when Jesus was on Earth?

A. The Father was in Jesus: John 14:10, 1 Corinthians5:19. He was also in heaven for God is omnipresent ( John 3:13).

14. Did the Bible say that Jesus; the son is the Father?

A. Yes. Isaiah 9:6. Jesus has dual personality: Father in this context speaks of his divinity. Son speaks of his humanity.

15. When God said, "Let us make man in our image"( Genesis 1:26 ) was he speaking to another person in the Godhead?

A. No. Isaiah 44:24; Malachi 2:10 explained that God created everything alone by himself. He was talking to himself. Or  better put; the invisible God is talking to his visible self, his theophany; by which he made all things. ( Colossians 1:16-18; John 1:3). Genesis 2:27 reveals that God was not talking to another different person; "So God created man in his own image. "Note the word "his own image" and not Their own image.'

16. How many of God's qualities are in Jesus?

A. All. Colossians 2:9 says, "In him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."

17. How may we see God, the Father?

A. There is no other way we can see the Father except by seeing Jesus. Jesus made this clear in John 12:44-45; "And he that Seeth me Seeth him that sent me." In John 14:9, he emphasized further, "...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father."

18. Did the Bible say that Jesus is the Almighty God?

A. Yes; Revelation 1:8; 17-18.

19. Whom do some designate as the first person of the trinity?

A. God, the Father

20. Whom do some designate as the last person of the trinity?

A. The Holy Ghost. But Jesus said "I am the first and the last." Revelation 1:17-18. Jesus mean that he is both the Father and the Holy Spirit. God is a Spirit from eternity before he revealed himself as the Father, and then manifested in the flesh, unfortunately the Trinitarians have put the first as the last. Father is the title of God Almighty, whilst Holy Spirit is his being, his nature, hence they are not two distinct person, but the same one person.

21. How many persons did John see sitting on the throne in heaven?

A. One person. Revelation 4:2. The person who sat on the throne in heaven is the Lord Jesus Christ, vs8. He is the God Almighty. Consider the description of him that sat on the throne if it does not agree with the description of the Almighty God, the Father as the prophets saw him: Ezekiel 10:1, Ezekiel 1:28, Ezekiel 1:13, Ezekiel 1:5, Isaiah 6:2. If there were three persons that made one God, why is it that three of them did not sit on three thrones? Why is it that only one, that is, The Lord Jesus Christ is always the one shown  sitting on one throne.

22. If Jesus is the first and last( Revelation1:8) why did God say in Isaiah 44:6 that he is the first and the last?

A. Because Jesus Christ is that same God of the old testament. The Jehovah of the old testament is Jesus Christ of the new testament.

23. Did Jesus tell Satan that God alone should be worshiped?

A. Yes. Mathew4:10.

24. Did the Bible say that God was made manifest in the flesh?

A. Yes. John 1:1, 14; 1Timothy3:16.

25. For what purpose was God manifest in the flesh?

A. To save sinners. Hebrews2:9,14. Verse14 says because we the children of God are flesh and blood, God our Father partook of flesh and blood so that he could through Death destroy the devil.

26. Was Jesus God manifest in the flesh?

A. Yes. 1 Timothy 3:16. Apostle Paul says it is not a controversial issue that God was manifested in the flesh, in the person of Jesus Christ.

27. If Jesus was God, who was in heaven when he was on earth?

A. He was in heaven as well as on earth at the same time, because he is that omnipresent God. John 3:13.

28. Does the Bible say that there is but one Lord?

A. Yes. Isaiah 45:18, Ephesians 4:5.

29. Does the Bible say that Christ is the Lord?

A. Yes. Luke 2:11: "For unto you this day is born in the city of David, Jesus which is Christ the Lord.

30. Does the Bible say that the Lord is God?

A. Yes. Zechariah 14:5; Acts 2:39, Revelation 19:1.

31. How could the church belong to Jesus ( Mathew16:18 )and yet be the church of God? ( 1 Corinthians10:32 ).

A. Because Jesus is that one God, now in the flesh.

32. Will God share his Glory with anyone?

No. Isaiah 42:8.

33. Was there a God formed before Jehovah or would there be any formed after him?

A. No. Isaiah 43:10.

34. What is one thing that God does not know?

A. Another God beside himself. Isaiah 44.8

35. How many God should we know?

A. Only one. Hosea13:4; "Yet I am God from the land of Egypt and thou shalt know no god but me: for their is no saviour beside me."

36. How many names has the Lord?

A. One. Zechariah 14:9; "And the Lord shall be king over all the Earth: In that day shall there be one Lord and his name one."

37. Does the Bible tell us that God alone threads upon the wave of the sea?

A. Yes. Job 9:8.

38. Why then was Jesus able to walk upon the sea? Mathew14:25.

A. Because he is God, the creator. Colossians 1:16.

39.Is God the only one who can forgive sin?

A. Yes. Isaiah 43:26; Mark 2:7.

40. Why then could Jesus forgive sin in  Mark2:5-11?

A. Because he is God, the saviour.

41, Is Jesus the true God?

A. Yes. 1 John 5:20.

42. If God the Father and the Holy Ghost are two separate persons, which was the father of Jesus Christ?

A. Mathew 1:20, says that the Holy Ghost was the Father , while Romans15:6; 11 Corinthians 11:31,and Ephesians 1:3 say that God was the Father. There is no contradiction when we realize that God the Father and the Holy Spirit are one and the same Spirit. Mathew 10:20, Ephesians 4:4; 1 Corinthians 3: 16.

43. While Stephen was dying did he call God Jesus?

A. Yes. Acts7:59.

44. Did Thomas ever call Jesus God?

A. Yes. Mathew 1:23.

45. Does the Bible say that Jesus was God with us?

A.Yes. Mathew 1:23.

46. Can Trinitarians show that three divine persons was baptized by John?

A. Absolutely No. The one omnipresent God used three simultaneous manifestations. Only one divine person - Jesus Christ was present.

47. Does the Bible say that God shed his blood, and that God laid his life for us?

A. Yes. Acts20:28; 1 John 3:16. God was able to do that because he took upon himself a human body.

48. The Bible says that God is coming back with all his saints ( Zechariah 14:5 ), and also that Jesus is coming back with all his saints ( 1 Thessalonians 3: 13 ). Are two coming?

A. No. Only one is coming - our Great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.( Titus2:13).

GOD BLESS YOU ON YOUR DECISION TO WORSHIP THE TRUE GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH AND BE BAPTISED IN JESUS CHRIST NAME.

BE MODEST. TIME TO SHUN THE DEVIL!

BE MODEST. TIME TO SHUN THE DEVIL! In today’s culture modesty is totally out of style. The phrase that I’d say best describes the current trend would be “less is more – show your skin.” Skin is everywhere: billboards, magazines, social media – everyone everywhere seems to be attempting to show off as much skin as possible and draw as much attention to themselves as they can. The American culture is constantly putting the wrong message into girls’ heads. “If you don’t flaunt what you’ve got, guys are going to pass you over and move on to the skin-revealing, midriff-baring, hottie.” You probably already know this, but I’ll say it anyways: Guys are extremely visual. I believe that men are 100% accountable for where they put their eyes, and what they do with what they see once it enters their mind. But I also know this: it sure is a blessing and encouragement when a woman makes the effort to dress modestly. A woman who doesn’t reveal as much skin as she can shows love and consi...
